Ahoy there. mate!! You will find 15 major marinas along the 324 mile shoreline of Lake Wylie. The Charlotte Yacht Club, Emerald Point, Harbortowne, the Yachtsman, Terry's Marina, Long Cove Yacht club, Lake Wylie Marina, Camp Thunderbird, River Hills Marina, Pier 49 Marina, The Red Fez Marina, Catawaba Marina, Commodore Yacht Ckub, Tega Cay Marina and Lake Club Marina all provide lake access. These marinas cover the Lake shores from Belmont NC to Rock Hill SC. Amenities vary at each location (see individual listings) Additionally, there are five public access areas: Southpoint off Dixie River Rd in Belmont - Copperhead off Rock Island Rd at McDowell Park - Buster Boyd Bridge access next to the bridge on Hwy 49 SC - Allison Creek access off Hwy 274 - Niven's Creek access near Tega Cay and Ebenezer Park access in Rock Hill off Mt. Gallant Rd.
Lake Wylie Yacht Club, Harbortowne Marina and Tega Cay Marina also have boats for rent. |
