the palisades residents clubThe Palisades Residents Club opened this past Spring of 2015.  With school back in session and neighborhood pools recently closing, I figured it was worth sending some love to The Palisades.  A big congratulations on a successful first year to The Palisades Residents Club!

Charlotte’s HomeArama 2005 was one of The Palisades first big introductions to the Charlotte and Lake Wylie real estate markets.  The HomeArama tour visited The Palisades again in 2008 when The Ranch community in the neighborhood was the main feature.  Over the years the neighborhood has always taken pride in it’s green lifestyle development, earning the Audubon Gold Rating award.  A emphasis on natural surroundings and premier community amenities has continually driven home Buyers to this Southwest Steele Creek area of Charlotte.

The Palisades Country Club, Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course and swim and tennis center is among the best in the area.  Yet for many years Palisades home owners had to pay an additional fee, on top of the HOA dues, for access to the community pool.

For many home Buyers this added cost was a big drawback for the neighborhood.  Many home Buyers purchasing into a newer home community these days expect common amenities such as pool, clubhouse, etc. included in the cost of their HOA fees.  To the their credit – The Palisades developer listened.

In Spring 2015 The Palisades Residents Club opened for the enjoyment of all home owners.  Read more about amenities available at The Palisades Residents Club.

I have a number of friends in The Palisades who have all raved about the Residents Club.  This past summer, every time I’ve been in the neighborhood, showing property or touring new homes the Residents Club always appeared packed with home owners enjoying the pool and kiddie splash area.  The clubhouse at the Residents Club itself is quite impressive.

Any home buyer considering a move into The Palisades must make a stop at the Residents Club.  Thumbs up to the developer and neighborhood for providing this amenity to all residents – this will certainly help The Palisades continue to lead as one of the premier neighborhoods in the South Charlotte and Lake Wylie real estate markets.

~ Cheers!
