At a Glance
Located adjacent to Withers Cove on Lake Wylie, the Chapel Cove neighborhood is a new construction community comprised of several notable area builders. While Chapel Cove has several Lake Wylie waterfront homesites, the neighborhood is made up mostly of interior lots.
Chapel Cove’s amenity center includes a multi-use club room and kitchen for community events, swimming pool with kids’ splash zone, and exercise facility with after-hours access. Basketball courts, tennis courts and pickleball courts are also located on the amenity grounds. The community features a waterfront canoe and kayak launch as well.
Considered a sister-neighborhood to nearby The Sanctuary, Chapel Cove offers home buyers more affordable options while still enjoying close proximity to Charlotte, surrounding retail and attractions.
What We Love
Conceptually gorgeous community with lake access, impressive amenity center, neighborhood pocket parks. Location is hard to beat.
What We Don’t
Too soon to tell although the newer sections offer more modest lot sizes.
Large, 2story traditional style homes are the norm. Most homes are a minimum of 3,000sqft and will run the gamut of price points from mid $300s to $500s and then higher for waterfront homes.
Similar to The Sanctuary, Chapel Cove benefits from an excellent location on Lake Wylie’s northeast side in the Steele Creek region of Charlotte off Shopton Road West.
