Berewick Elementary School is predominately a neighborhood school serving the large Berewick community and some other surrounding neighborhoods. Berewick Elementary was founded in 2009. The school and the neighborhood from which it takes its name is located in the Steele Creek region of southwest Charlotte, along the eastern banks of Lake Wylie and close to the Dixie River Rd community.
Berewick Elementary’s vision statement is, “to become the first choice of education for our families- where all students, regardless of ethnicity or socioeconomic status, are engaged in a rich academic education in a family oriented environment that is focused on the needs of each child.” The school serves roughly 650 students.

Berewick Elementary follows the Common Core Standards and NC Essential Standards. BE is a PBIS school (Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports).
