How long have you been building homes around the Lake Wylie/Charlotte area, and do you specialize in any certain type of construction?
“We have been in the area a long time and specialize in all price points – from production homes to extremely customized estates.”
How long did it take to build this house from start to finish?
“Right at 9 months from the day we cleared the lot.”
What made this project different than some other homes you have built?
“The client was fantastic. They let us roll with our vision for the house placement. Really wonderful people to work with.”
Were there any unique obstacles you had to overcome with this particular project?
“There was very little staging area. The house sits on top of a knoll high above the lake. There was only one small access road into the property. We had to create land in order to actually build the house.”
This property has a Fort Mill address, not far from Tega Cay. This area of Lake Wylie is known for its steep topography. Did the topography of the home site present any problems with construction?
“The topography posed some moderate difficulty when we built the foundation and parking pads. Our subcontractors got a good workout during construction, often walking over 150 yards back and forth to their vehicles.”
The construction materials, finishes and color selections are amazing. Did the homeowner come to you with a complete set of plans and designs in place, or did you all work together to achieve the final look?
“We had a set of architecturally designed plans and worked with the home owner and also a decorator. We figured out the final look as we went along with the project.“

“The finishes are absolute top quality. Second to none.”
